Since March 2024, I hold a tenure-track lecturer-researcher position with a three-year Chaire d’Excellence AMU-A*Midex grant at Aix-Marseille Université (AMU), Marseille, France. I am the principal investigator of the project, “Quantumness: combinatorial, computational, and distributed” (QCCD), hosted at the Calcul Naturel (CANA) team of the Laboratoire d’Informatique et des Systèmes (LIS, UMR 7020) at AMU. I am also a visiting researcher at the Université libre de Bruxelles. If you are interested in PhD and postdoc positions, please check this page for the latest updates.
Previously I was an FNRS postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Quantum Information and Communication (QuIC) of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Brussels, Belgium. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, Waterloo, Canada. I did my PhD in theoretical physics at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, India. My undergraduate degree was a B.Sc. (Honours) Physics at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, Delhi, India.
My research is at the interface of quantum foundations and quantum information theory. My Google Scholar profile can be found here and my arXiv preprints here. I go by @quaintum on Twitter.
